The Countdown is on!!!
It's officially 1 month before Tink's 5th birthday!!! He's our St. Patrick's Day baby and he can hardly wait. He's already starting to "plan" his party- we'll see what he comes up with. It's hard to believe he's going to be 5- he's just so little and seems like he should stay that way. Happy Birthday "month" Owen Paul!

Our First Hospital Visit...
Well, the little one broke our streak. We've made it 7 1/2 years with no hospital visits, and the Juderbug decided that's been long enough. Jeremiah stayed home with him Tuesday because he just had a cold, or so I thought. By about 2PM Jere decided he needed to go see his pediatrician. So he loaded Jude and Owen up and off they went. By the time I got there my little man was having a hard time breathing. Dr. Shawn (we LOVE him!) ordered an X-ray because he thought it was possibly pneumonia. By the time we got back up stairs, Jude needed a breathing treatment. Unfortunately, the treatment didn't help out his oxygen levels very much and we were admitted to the hospital. Dr. Shawn tested for RSV and it was positive. It is terrifying to see your limp little baby struggling to breathe! We had a long rough night but Jude was dismissed the next afternoon and home he went. He's still not 100% but getting a bit better each hour. Thanks so much for the phone calls and to our great friends- the Lang Gang! The dinner helped out a great deal. Let's hope for another 7 1/2 years before we end up back in the hospital.

Ice Fishing and Hot Cocoa???
The first annual Reelfs ice fishing tournament took place last weekend. Grandpa Rodger spent all morning drilling holes, putting bait on poles, and preparing for all the grandkids to fish their little hearts out. It lasted all of 10 minutes then the kids were off running, skating, and sliding on the ice! The tournament prize was for the kid that caught the most fish- Owen won!!! However, Grandpa Rodger never specified whether the fish had to be dead or alive. So Owen proceeded to find 2 dead fish and hand them right over for his bounty. Smart little sucker, he is!
