Great Aunt Annie and Great Aunt Sue

Finner loved all the attention he got from his great aunts. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture with Great Aunt Bonnie- I will be sure to next time!

10 weeks

Little Finn is growing and growing. We had the opportunity to visit family in Minnesota this past weekend and it was a shocking realization as to how fast little babies grow and learn. My brother, as most of you know, had a little baby 3 days before we visited- he was 8 pounds, Finn who is just 10 weeks older than Beckett is up to about 11 pounds. The 3 pound difference is HUGE! Finn who looked so tiny to me while walking into David's house instantly transformed into a giant compared to the little newborn. Seeing that made me realize how fast life goes and how much I don't want my little boys to grow up. I wish they could stay small forever. Finn is an excellent little baby. Last night was his first night in his crib and he lasted for 5 hours!!! His daddy is better about putting him in there and leaving him- I still want him in his bouncer next to me but I know it's time to let him stretch out and sleep on his own. Finn is smiling all the time, talking A LOT, and moving his arms around like crazy. He's able to find his fist about 1 out of every 5 times, otherwise he continually punches himself in the face. Jude gets a kick out of this.

Beckett William Reelfs

Meet my newest little nephew Beckett! He was born healthy and beautiful on Wednesday April 21st. 8.0 pounds and a sweetie pie. Jessica did a fabulous job (loooonnnnngggg labor!) but otherwise everything went smoothly. Little Miss Berklee is a proud big sister and enjoying her new role. And as for my little brother, well, I think he's doing good...I'm thrilled he has a boy of his own as he's an amazing uncle to my 4 little men. Congrats Reelfs Family! We love you.

My Easter Boys!

Easter 2010. Luke (8), Owen (6), Jude (2), Finn (7 weeks)

The Many Faces of Finn~

Little Finn is 7 weeks old already! We had our first smile last week and he's starting to fill out and out grow the newborn clothes. Time to pass them on to my brother! He had his first giggle yesterday which scared him to death! He wasn't sure what came out of his mouth and then started wailing!!! I'm back to work now so Finn is cuddled by my mom all day every day! Sleeping is still an issue- but at least we know it's a phase. None of my children have ever been great sleepers so this is nothing new. I'm sure when they are 15 I'll be begging them to wake up and get off the couch. For now, we'll just enjoy the extra midnight kisses!

Jude's First Fish!

Our little man did a bit of fishing on Easter day and boy did he reel in the slimy things! Out of all the cousins, I believe Jude caught the most. He wasn't quite sure what to think of them and didn't understand what all the hooting and hollering was about. Really, he was quite unimpressed! Good thing because I don't much care for fish either!
