We were able to slip away for a quick trip to Northfield, MN to visit Jere's grandma, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and my brother David and his family. We had a great time as always. Luke and Owen rode Great Aunt Annies' golf cart ALL over the farm and I think all of us had numerous rides as well! There was a wonderful family baby shower for Scott and Ami's baby Ketcher- it was great to see a lot of the cousins together. Jude enjoyed running, climbing, swinging, playing on the tractors, and kisses with great grandma. Until next time Minnesota!

4 is the new 3... Right???
Yes, it's true. The Mieska clan is adding another 'lil Mieska! We are officially 10 weeks along and expecting this little angel to join us in mid-February (Feb. 16th). But who knows, maybe we'll have a Valentine baby! The big brothers are very excited and hoping for a girl this time. Everyone keeps asking me if I'm trying for that girl, and I'll be honest, at this point in the game I'm going for the easiest and a boy would be fabulous. I know boys! Although some pink in this household would be a true blessing as well. We're just praying for a healthy baby to add to our blessed family. Today's ultrasound went well. It turns out I am further along than I thought because I wasn't particularly paying attention :). Yes, this was a bit of a surprise for us! Baby #4 was kicking and waving already on the ultrasound so that relieved my anxiety and made for a weepy afternoon in the doctor's office. Keep us in your prayers as we're doing the same for the Ketcher's, Park's, Wiggins, Bach's, any others out that that I'm not remembering???? I think I already have pregnancy brain :)
Much love,
G

Update on Gramps!
Just a quick update on my grandpa Clink. As several of you know grandpa had a bad fall last week and either had a heart attack and fractured his skull in the fall or vice versa. He is home and healing but very weak. Please keep him in your prayers. On a good note- he celebrated his 88th birthday on June 24th. Isn't that amazing? You never in a million years would guess that grandpa is 88. He looks 70! Happy Belated Gramps!
Vacation snapshots
So we're at the Lake of the Ozarks with our dear friends The Langs! Having a ball and all the kids are getting along great. We've spent many many hours on the lake, which is a new vacation for us. We're typically "land" vacationers but not any more!!! We've been tubing, boating, laughing, eating, playing, eating some more, and just having a ball! Oh, Angie and I even parasailed yesterday!!! Stay tuned... more to come.
