Baby Model

My dear friend came over and took photos of our little prince the other day. She was FABULOUS!!! If she doesn't do something with her talent I told her she was crazy!!! The photos turned out great of Finn and we're looking forward to more in the future. Thought I'd share a few :)

More Photos

I love the smell of a newborn- Finn is no exception. He's 5 days old today and we've snuggled all day. There is no better way to spend a day. Jeremiah has been able to stay home with us this week while the rest of the kids are at daycare or school. We had a great surprise today as Uncle Zac from Florida popped in for a surprise visit! It is great to see him and have him meet his newest little nephew. More to come...

Welcome, Little One!

Finn Andrew Mieska arrived February 12th, 2010 at 5:40 PM! He weighed 7 pounds 11 oz., 20 1/2 inches long. He's the smallest of the Mieska babies thus far. Gorgeous sandy brown hair and the picture of health. We are in LOVE!!!

Baby Shower

My cousins, Lori and Mary, had a wonderful baby shower for me yesterday. I guess by the time you have your 4th little one you're in need of new clean, non-spit up, stained clothing, onsies, diaper bag etc.. We had a wonderful time and I SO appreciate all they have done for me. Here is a picture of the adorable cake-

January Fun

It's snowing again today- we've had an abundance of the white stuff this winter! I have heard many many complaints- mainly from my husband but I'm loving it...and so are our kids.

LOBSTERS~

A few weeks ago we celebrated my dad's birthday by having live lobsters flown in from Maine. What a great time. Dad was a little scared to open the box that said "LIVE ANIMALS" but once he did the fun began. I highly recommend doing this if anyone wants to celebrate or just have a fun family evening. We were going to do lobster races however I think the lobsters were a bit tired from their flight the day before :)
