Owen went to Kindergarten round up today! He was SO excited and had a great time. His big brother even stopped by his classroom to say hello! It's hard to believe he'll be starting school in 116 days!!!

Hippity, Hoppity....
Our Easter babies were up at 5:30 this morning eager to see if the bunny had left any little surprises. Much to their delight they were greeted with chocolates, eggs, and toys... Oh to be 7, 5, and 1 again! Although I don't believe Jude really understood he needed to search for eggs, he was too busy stuffing blue jelly beans in his mouth. Owen was tickled to find a Star Wars Lego set in the dishwasher and Luke discovered an I-dog in the dryer.... the hiding places are getting harder and harder.
We enjoyed a wonderful brunch at my brother's house. Heidi put on quite the Easter egg hunt and it was enjoyed by all. Now we're home and crashing quickly from the sugar highs. All in all it's been a wonderful day, but let us remember He lived, He died. He said in 3 days He would rise. He did! He's alive!!! --- Celebrating our Risen Lord!!!!!!!!!
Happy Easter from the Mieska family!!!

What???... Who Me????
It was awful quiet in the house for having all 3 boys awake and wandering around so I decided to investigate.... Lo and behold this is where I found the Juderbug. He finally figured out how to climb the stairs- my life is over as I know it (at least for the next few months until he figures out how to slide down). You see, my father in law has figured out a crafty way to install a gate at the top of the stairs so as not to hurt the woodwork, however, the bottom of the stairs is another story (no pun intended). Our front stairs have a banister that is just not "gate" friendly and the servant quarter stairs (I'm the servant) are too wide unless I want to spend bukooo buckaroos on an expensive gate that will only be used for a few months. So I'm constantly chasing the bug up and down... I better lose some weight outta this.
Other than that, all is well on the Mieska front. We're looking forward to Easter weekend- hope the bunny makes it to our house. Happy Easter everyone!!!
