The countdown is officially on. McNugget Mieska should be here in approximately 30 days! It seems so far away and yet WAY TOO close. I'm/we are very anxious to meet the little babe. I've always said the last month is the hardest because one is anxious, nervous, hurting, aching, busy, sleep-deprived, etc... however, this is also one of the most joyous because one can sit back and watch the family because it will never be the same... in a good way. I had my tear-jerker moment this morning as I watched little Juderbug sitting with his big brothers- I pray he doesn't get lost in the shuffle of adding a new little person that will require so much of my time and attention. I know a time will come when Jude doesn't even remember NOT having a younger sibling, but it still makes me sad that he's losing his spot as the baby! I will have to give all of them extra loving this month- more for myself than anything :)
We are finally back to a "normal" week- after Christmas break we had another week of snowstorms and no school. It was heavenly but we all were ready to start anew. The kids need their routine as do Jere and I. We still haven't done anything to the baby's room- I'm still trying to pick out colors so that's on our list to tackle in the next two weeks. Any ideas would be appreciated. Even if McNugget is a boy I'm trying to stray from the classic blue- maybe we'll go with Green....Hmmmm.
Will post pics soon of the most recent snowstorm- Oh, how I wish I was 5 or 8 again and could play in the GINORMOUS snow drifts at our house! Have a great week.

My vote is green (like a honeydew color) paint! That's what I did when the baby's room was just an office and now as a baby room I just love the color:) Then everything matches....purple or pink or blue accessories.
I was just going to say the same thing bethanie said, and I'm not even a green person. There are a lot of bedding and designs that match with the bright green. Are you getting new bedding, or using something you have?? How are you "rooming up" the other boys?
